The Role
Within state-of-the-art facilities, you will be involved the optimisation and development of branded products to the agreed timescales and costings. Looking at product improvements, factory efficiency and the implementation of new products will all feature as part of your role. This will be a customer facing role – facing off to suppliers and dealing with potential issues. You will effectively make improvements and modifications to new products and provide appropriate recommendations. This role will work closely with suppliers on continuous improvements and manage NPD projects through to the end including production trials. You will keep a strong watch on market trends and competitor activity and implement this knowledge into your new product development.
Personal Profile
- Food related degree or qualifications
- Able to work individually and as a team to strict deadlines
- Good communication skills for dealing with suppliers and customers
- Full driving licence and flexibility to travel abroad occasionally
