Senior Quality Manager

My client, one of the largest processing sites in the UK and even further afield are seeking an organized, forward-thinking and proactive senior Quality Manager.

As a senior member of the Quality Team, you will be responsible for the overall quality of the products released from the site and the activities required to meet standards that satisfy our customer expectations. Your day to day responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

• Overseeing and ensuring that the Food Safety and Quality policies and procedures are applied daily
• Customer engagement regarding all technical matters, including hosting site visits and audits
• Writing quality system documents including procedures, records and factory quality standards
• Ensuring the quality system documentation, including CCP documentation, is completed accurately by relevant departments
• Monitoring, analysing and reporting on performance of quality management system
• Managing investigations and corrective actions for non-conformances including microsampling and customer issues
• Raising any relevant issues with the Technical Manager and Senior Management team and working with to resolve these issues.

To be considered for this role, you MUST be able to demonstrate that you have:

• A relevant food science degree
• Relevant industry experience, ideally in chilled foods
• Proven experience as a Quality Manager
• Level 2 HACCP
• Level 3 Food Safety
• Internal Audit Qualification
