A position has arisen for a Production Planner working for a family owned business which grows high quality, award-winning, fresh produce which is supplied to the major UK multiples and food manufacturers.
As Production Planner, you will be responsible for producing the daily, weekly plans and forecast to support the product function in delivering strong cost performance and OEE.
You will manage the daily production schedules of all production lines, ensure that the production schedules optimise efficiency and enables full supply to customer orders (within capacity and availability constraints), have productive input into daily ‘Start of Day’ and ‘Efficiency Review’ meetings and interrogate daily / weekly / medium term forecasts, to ensure figures are as accurate as possible, including known promotions, de-listings and ad-hoc requests.
To be considered for the Production Planner role, you will have good experience in an FMCG planning, supply chain, scheduling or similar role, most preferably within the food manufacturing industry. You will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to accurately forecast short and medium term plus a high level of numeracy. Knowledge of working with a Sales & Operations planning framework is desirable. Own transport will be required due to company location.
The Production Planner job is based in the South East region and is paying £25,000 - £28,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday.
