Are you looking to join a family owned food business and playing a leading role in their NPD team?
My client are a looking to recruit a very switched on candidate to lead all their NPD costing’s and be a project lead across their NPD and EPD launches.
You will work alongside development chefs and process managers to cost existing and new product development. We expect the costings part of the job to take 50% of the time, with the other half being used to support the NPD team in meeting launch deadlines. This will include using NPD software and training software. You will need to have an excellent grasp of Microsoft Excel and be numerate and comfortable with numbers. Expect to have your abilities tested in the recruitment process.
You will interact with suppliers on new product development as necessary to source ingredients for kitchen and factory trials, and then costing these.
