If you are looking to take progress your career in food manufacturing with a role that will offer autonomy and responsibility then this is the one for you.

Working as a Supply Planner with this independently owned branded food manufacturer you will be a key component of the business operations team. Supplying products to the major retail sector, their own outlets and a large number of smaller accounts you will be managing lots of different data sources about the multiple routes to market. You will be translating this demand into accurate production plans for your key internal customer, the Production Manager. You will help them achieve the highest customer service level by creating well thought out plans, maximising production time at the lowest attainable cost.

Along with scheduling production you will manage stock levels, ensuring correct levels of finished goods and work in progress so that product quality is maintained and waste minimised.

As an expert in managing data you will help to implement a new Master Production Scheduling system, increasing the usability across the business.

Communication is a key skill in the Supply Planner role; you will play an important part in daily operations meetings contributing to discussions around capacity issues and feeding back on KPI results.
