The job

Reporting to the Technical Manager, as Specifications & Technical Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring all products supplied by the company comply with legal requirements and customer needs, through the filling of documentation and specifications and sharing of information.

You will ensure all customer specifications and questionnaires are completed and supplier specifications are up to date, investigative and report regularly on all customer documentation requests, support corrective actions arising from non-conformances, administer documentation within the quality management system, conduct internal quality audits, assist with customer and third-party audits ensuring corrective actions are completed plus regularly update SAP master data to ensure accurate packaging, technical and specification data is always available.

Your experience

You will be a holder of a food science, food technology, nutrition or related degree and/or possess technical experience within food manufacturing and looking for the next step in your career.

Previous QA/QC working experience and HACCP qualifications would be beneficial, as would knowledge of food safety and quality standards. Essentially, you will be highly organised, have excellent IT skills including Word and Excel plus strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.

A driving licence and own transport Is essential due to site location.

The Specifications & Technical Administrator job is based in the West Midlands region and is paying £18,000 - £22,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
