My client are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their team based in Hartlepool area!

Description

The key responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician include:

• Deliver routine maintenance on all equipment and machinery
• This includles fault finding, problem solving, continuous improvement and repairs
• Ensuring downtime is minimised and all machines are running to maximum potential
• Lead daily, weekly and monthly health and safety inspections reporting any findings to the relevant supervisor
• Carry out site based projects working closely with the Engineering Manager

Profile

The successful Maintenance Technician will:

• Time served and HNC as a minimum in a relevant engineering discipline
• Previous experience of working in a Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance hazardous environment
• Background in a manufacturing or chemical environment would also be highly desirable, as too would having a sound knowledge of warehousing, logistics and overall distribution process.
• Strong communication and team working skills with a can do attitude.
