The company

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading chilled food wholesaler which supplies to the UK foodservice sector. Since the business was founded over 40 years ago, the company has expanded rapidly, constantly increasing its product range to ensure they remain a market-leader and the number one choice for customers.

The job

As National Account Manager, you will be responsible for effectively managing and developing your customer portfolio, taking advantage of opportunities to develop the business and become the supplier of choice within the foodservice sector.

You will build and own trading relationships, determine customer needs and make product recommendations, maintain awareness of market trends and competitor activity plus manage all required documentation and create sales reports as required.

Your experience

We are looking for an individual with a strong food industry track record in sales development and account management ideally selling into the foodservice sector. You will have an excellent knowledge of how the foodservice industry operates, a history of developing and retaining new business plus the ability to build genuine and effective relationships with customers. A full UK valid driving licence is essential.

More details

The National Account Manager job can be either a home or office (West Midlands) based role and is paying £30,000 - £35,000 according to individual skills and previous experience plus car allowance and bonus.
