Description

Supply Chain

• Manage the overall position of purchases & stock against customers forecast & demands

• Maintain minimum stock levels

• Scheduling shipments against forecasts or to maintain minimum stock levels

• Develop good relationship with existing clients (suppliers / customers)

• Assist profitable growth by achieving best cost solutions.

Shipping and Logistics

• Managing all U.K. Imports working with shipping agents & shipping lines to best manage our container shipments from our global supply partners.

• Constantly looking for best cost solutions for all stock movements

• Establishing best costs pallet collections

• Arranging Customer deliveries / collections

• Increasing customer satisfaction

Profile

• Familiarity with the contractual and documentary requirements associated with purchase and sales contracts (both UK origin and imported material).

• Good Knowledge on containerised shipping & intercoms

• Excellent interpersonal skills, for building long term good trading relationships with suppliers and customers and working harmoniously within a small but very successful team.

• Good IT skills - comfortable with MS Office and ideally excellent excel skills
