Are you looking for an exciting new challenge in the food manufacturing sector?
Our client is a much-loved and valued UK food manufacturer on an exciting growth trajectory. We're looking for someone to be based on a well-invested, expanding site which has experienced some huge recent investment in capital projects and has ambitious plans to continue to grow and reshape the site in line with the increased demand for products. As an experienced Project Engineer / Project Manager, this environment presents a fantastic opportunity to own and be involved in an array of projects which will directly contribute to the commercial success of the business.
From a professional standpoint, you'll receive all the support and training, but with a level of autonomy that will give you the opportunity to stand on your own two feet from Day 1. The unique structure of the business presents ample progression and broadening opportunities for high performers.
In terms of what we're looking for, we'd like you to be a Degree-qualified Engineer, preferably with a mechanical bias, with at least 3 years of experience of projects within a food manufacturing (or potentially wider FMCG) environment. NB. There has been a lot of interest in this role from outside these sectors but, without food or FMCG experience, we are unable to consider your application.
We need someone who is an intelligent problem solver, but also collaborative - someone who doesn't shy away from talking through issues to find the right solution. You'll need to have communication skills that can transcend the hierarchy - you'll need to be able to communicate with everyone from the factory floor to the senior management. You'll be someone who embraces changes and approaches every challenge as an opportunity.
If you would like to apply for this great opportunity please send us your most recent up to date CV and we’ll be in touch accordingly.
