The role is working with quality products that are supplied to the major multiples.

The environment has pace and the site is constantly looking to deliver for its customers. Therefore this role needs an Engineering Manager to work closely with production to ensure the engineering schedules work with the production schedule to maximise the business plans.

The site has seen investment and significant change over the last few years. This is a great business to join with a good team focus in all functional areas.

This role reports directly into the Operation Director. As the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for a team of multi skilled Engineers via a team of engineering supervisors. As the successful candidate you will have prior experience of working within a fast paced food manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for the yearly budget and the engineering strategy. The role requires a strong communicator and an Engineering Manager to engage and motivate the functional and wider teams. The site has clear KPIs to ensure delivery and this role would ensure the engineering KPIs are aligned to maximise and motivate the Engineering teams.

The ideal candidate will: -
  • Be an excellent communicator
  • Have prior experience managing a large multi skilled team
  • Have prior experience in a similar role within a Food or FMCG environment
  • Have Capex, project management and experience of owning an Engineering Strategy
