As Technical Manager, you will be proactive in the delivery and control of all matters relating to food safety and hygiene and be responsible for company compliance, adherence to specification and implementing service improvement in line with operational day-to-day needs with regards to quality, legality and customer requirements.
You will develop and maintain an effective HACCP system, manage all product and service complaints, ensure compliance to third-party standards i.e. BRC and government bodies, monitor & audit all aspects of the quality management system, define product & process specifications plus develop strong working relationships at all levels from supplier & internal departments to customers with the aim of reducing rejections and quality issues at all stages of the supply chain.
To be considered for the Technical Manager job, you will ideally be educated to a degree level in a food science/technology discipline and have solid experience working in quality/technical management within food manufacturing. You will have an excellent working knowledge of HACCP and BRC plus be commercially aware with strong communication skills.
The Technical Manager job is based in the North West Wales region and is paying £40,000 - £50,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday, office hours.
