Location: Cheshire, North Wales, Merseyside
Salary: c£33k plus excellent benefits

JOB PURPOSE

To lead the warehouse team to deliver best in class and flexible performance in accordance with business objectives and strategic plans.
This will be achieved through the day to day effective leadership of a warehouse team to drive for superior results, exceed KPI targets, and strive for continual year on year improvements. You'll be looking after a team of 8-12 people with the purpose to increase that as the company grows and expands the site.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead motivate and develop their team, to ensure planned output requirements/quality standards are met whilst ensuring all H&S guidelines are followed.
• Review team performance regularly to identify areas for improvement and encourage progress of individual team members through performance review and developing and delivering agreed personal development plans.
• Achieve shift KPI targets e.g. for material usage variances and absenteeism etc.
• Ensure all site-specific Quality, Housekeeping & Hygiene standards are achieved or exceeded.
• Develop team working across the warehouse applying continuous improvement principles.
• Accurately complete all required shift documentation for compliance against BRC, ISO and site-specific quality standards
• Ensure regular communication/briefing to provide the team with the relevant information to carry out their shift to maximum effect.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Warehouse supervisory capacity within an FMCG, preferably food or drink.
• FLT licence.
• SAP experience is desirable
