Supervisor level position in a top-level food production company.

This Area Line Leader role is part of the production team at one of the UK's top bakery businesses. Easily the biggest supplier in their sector you will be joining a company with a great brand identity and marketing presence that is working with the best retailers and foodservice brands.

As an Area Line Leader, you will be supervising a team of around 12 people in your section of the factor. Focusing on pace and accuracy you will monitor the production KPI's, attending regular meetings throughout the day to fix any problems. You will make sure your area is kept tidy with a 'clean as you go' mentality, maintaining the factory's high levels of cleanliness.

As a supervisor you will look out for your team and make sure they are working in a safe way, using all appropriate protective equipment; reporting any accidents or near misses and helping to make sure they don't happen again.

For this role we are looking for people with experience in a food manufacturing site with a good understanding of food safety. You will have experience leading or supervising a team, with good motivational and organisational skills. If you have a positive attitude and a desire to learn new skills you will have the opportunity to progress into more senior positions in this business.
