The Role

Reporting to the Technical Manager, you’ll act as the main interface with major retail customers during site meetings and audits. By using your technical expertise, you’ll maintain optimum levels of quality through managing internal audit programs, systems and team KPI’s, guaranteeing compliance with legislative requirements including HACCP and BRC. You’ll be investigating complaints, conducting tractability reports and maintaining QAS documentation, liaising with the hygiene team to provide direction and support to achieve relevant standards and conform to all customer codes of practice.

The Person

This role would suit a motivated Quality Assurance professional educated to degree level with a Food Science or related qualification, and has a robust background in chilled food manufacturing. You must have previous experience within QA and a sound understanding of the quality and technical aspects of food production, including a working knowledge of HACCP, BRC and an Internal Audit certification. You’ll be a strong influencer, able to use excellent communication skills to achieve outstanding results.
