Field Sales Executive
Up to £32k plus company vehicle
Our clients import and distribute a wide range of top quality Italian food and wine across the UK and are looking for a Sales Representative to support the business growth.
New business development as well the development and maintenance of business relationships with existing customers
Identification, pursuit and realisation of opportunities as they occur and development of these into new business, keeping updated with product knowledge and taking part in training courses
Monitoring, evaluating and reporting on competitor’s activities in order to maximise sales opportunities
Completing daily, weekly and monthly reports as required
Working closely as part of a large internal team
Organize tasting demonstrations with prospective and existing customers
Explore and grow the client account list, dealing with incoming leads and ending sales
Attend trade shows or sales meeting off-site when necessary
At least 3 years proven track record in Sales/Account management required Excel, Word and CRM/Database management experience required
Proven knowledge of the food and beverage industry and Italian products.
Experience of managing accounts and relationships for multiple clients
Previous experience in food service as a chef, would be desirable
Excellent written and verbal communicator
Conscientious and self-motivated
Good organisational skills
Reliable, punctual and efficient
Flexible to travel as visiting customers is a large part of the role
