You have the opportunity to join a market leading food manufacturing business that have gone through a period of significant organic growth. As a result of this growth, they are in need of a Quality Manager to join the technical team based out of their Northamptonshire site.



Client Details

You have the chance to join a well-established business and help them define their strategic vision. You will be leading quality improvement and work cross functionally across their Northamptonshire site. This role will lead quality compliance & assurance in a site with a varied product range.



Description

As the Quality Manager you will be managing, leading & motivating direct & indirect reports within the technical team, as well as being instrumental in maintaining and advancing the company's quality improvement strategy. You will be working closely with the senior management contingent to form a best practice working culture.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Maintain and develop the site Quality Management System
  • Conduct gap analyses against COPs and BRC standards
  • Pest Prevention
  • Lead Allergen and TACCP teams
  • Customer complaint handling
  • Internal non-conformance management
  • Management of product non-conformance with suppliers
  • Raw Material and Finished Product Evaluation
  • Management and disposition of non-conforming product
  • Internal and external auditing
  • Developing and reinforcing factory technical standards


Profile

A Quality Manager or Quality Supervisor looking for their next step up. The successful applicant will have food experience and the following;
  • Level 3 HACCP qualification
  • Level 3 Hygiene qualification
  • Experience in working with operational teams to improve standards
  • Experience of communicating effectively with customers and suppliers
  • Excellent planning, analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
  • Ability to generate and implement creative solutions
  • A strong internal & external customer service ethos geared to meeting and where possible exceeding customer expectations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the company
  • Track record of continuously improving team performance




Job Offer

Circa £35,000 - £40,000 + Benefits
