I am currently recruiting a Supply Chain Manager to join an industry leading, well loved brand based in the Berkshire area.

The Supply Chain Manager will lead a team focusing on forecasting, inventory and customer service.

Description

The Supply Chain Manager will lead a team of Supply and Demand Planners responsible for the following:

Manage the customer order to delivery process, including third party warehousing and distribution to assure on time and complete delivery to customers

Forecasting and planning accuracy

Defining and improving stock management policies

Responsible for reporting, monitoring and improving performance across the Supply Chain

Developing relationships with suppliers, customers and key stake holders including third party contractors

Negotiating cost

Driving S&OP

Profile

The Supply Chain Manager must possess a proven track record in leading a Supply Chain within a consumer environment. People management and development skills are a must.

You must have an understanding of the UK market, retailers requirements and legislation.

The role requires someone analytical, preferably a user of SAP.

The Supply Chain Manager must demonstrate the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment.

The desired candidate must also show strong negotiation and communication skills.
