To help them expand they need a highly talented, engaging and proactive Product Developer who can bring divinely delicious ideas to the table.

The Role

A really rare opportunity to be part of the new UK Innovations Team in a broad role, fast paced role for an authentic, adventurous brand. Managing the NPD process from concept to product launch, you will work to create products that truly shine in their respective categories without compromising on quality and taste.  You will work closely with marketing and manufacturing partners to create products that are on trend and ones UK consumers will love.

You will be involved in all aspects of NPD from recipe development, benchmarking, taste panels, costings, trials and product launches.  You’ll be involved with short and long term NPD project initiatives, presenting ideas to key stakeholders and the senior team.  You will need to build strong and collaborative relationships, working cross-functionally to make things happen.  This is a head office role but there will be some travel involved so you’ll need to be flexible and happy to be where you’re needed.

The Person

We’re looking for a stand-out Product Developer who has experience of creating great tasting products with a branded food / drink business, a food retailer or food manufacturing company, who is ready for the next step in their innovations career.

You’ll need to have a well-honed palate, heaps of energy, enthusiasm and the ability to spot an opportunity and seize it. Whilst having the adaptability and drive to easily pick up, prioritise and manage projects, you’ll also be a natural organiser with exceptional planning skills.  

Drinks or dairy experience would be a bonus but not essential if you can adapt your skills and learn quickly.   A degree within a food discipline or related subject such as Food Science or Food Technology would be helpful too.
