Your role

A great opportunity has become available for a HR Professional who enjoys working in a busy fast paced environment to join our Moy Park team in Ashbourne.  We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident HR Officer who can work in partnership with managers to deliver an effective HR agenda underpinned by our employee engagement strategies .

You will thrive on a diverse range of challenges and issues within Moy Park including  resourcing, attendance management, employee retention and engagement, and will play an active part in the effective running of our business . You will be pragmatic, people orientated and will enjoy working cross functionally to support managers to build effective teams within our factory.

You will already be an experienced HR Officer, ideally with FMCG or manufacturing sector background, looking for the next step in to a larger generalist operational role.  An excellent communicator and team player with strong interpersonal skills developed through your experiences dealing with people at all levels and from many different cultures, employee representatives and/or trade union representatives.

You should have a flexible and proactive working attitude and be able to demonstrate your planning and organising abilities. Computer literate, proven competence in the use of MS word and excel and familiar with HR databases. Some exposure to time and attendance systems would be an advantage.  For this role we would welcome candidates who are CIPD qualified or working towards this.

Flexibility to work outside of core office hours on occasion would be desirable to help support early and late shift patterns.
