Job Details
Responsible for all new production innovation and development of existing products the Site NPD Lead will play a critical role in helping the business grow in it's current product category as well as venturing into new categories.
Client Details
Our client are market leaders within their sector and a well established and recognised brand on the supermarket shelves. With their purpose built South Yorkshire factory, they have recently gone through a number of expansion plans and are well placed to bring new product innovations to the market.
Description
Responsible for generating ideas and driving them into fruition, this new product development role plays a pivotal part in elevating the business amongst it's competition and diversifying the marketplace.
Other responsibilities include:
*Be adventurous in developing new concepts in the NPD kitchen on site
*The key point of contact for all NPD and EPD within the business
*Understand the commercialities of a new product and make the numbers work
*Bring energy and idea to the business to NPD and the wider business
*Work closely with technical, commercial and procurement teams to fulfil a product brief from concept to launch
Profile
The successful candidate will have a range of the following:
*Energy and tenacity with a hunger for innovation and change
*Have experience working in food manufacturing NPD and can hit the ground running with this role
*Can handle feedback and channel this positively into change
*Retailers experience
*Versatile to working in the kitchen , factory floor and in an office
*Must be foodie with a passion for NPD and innovation
