QA Technicians (Monday to Friday)

My client, a successful food manufacturer based in Leeds are seeking a experienced Quality Assurance Technologists (QA Technologist / Technician) to support the team with product launces, process and audits.  

Duties

• Ensuring that you’re adhering to compliance standards
• Process validation audits
• Support product trials
• Attend daily taste panels
• Handling customer complaints and dealing with quality and health and safety issues.
• To lead by example, driving performance and standards throughout the team
• Daily checks of products to ensure it meets all the standards and requirements

Skills & Experience

• Quality experience working within a Food Manufacturing company
• Understand GMP and HACCP
• Understand and knowledge of customer COP's, (Code of Practice)
• Excellent communication skills; verbal & written
• Able to work autonomously or a part of a team
• Can think on their feet, will adapt to business needs

Benefits & Package

• Salary: up to £23000
• Permanent Role
• Working Monday to Friday
• Shift 6am-2pm, 2pm to 10pm, 10pm to 6am (must be able to commit to two of the shifts on a rota basis)
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
• Shift Allowance
• Pension
