Procurement Assistant | Spanish Speaking
We are working with a leading fruit supplier based in the Bedfordshire area and supplying the retail sector. Due to recent growth, they are in the process of expanding their winning team to help deal with all the new orders coming in the New Year.
This role would see you successfully assisting the Procurement team. This role can be broken down into several parts: stock management, production orders and consignment details. You will be reviewing material stock sheets, keeping a very good level of stock availability throughout the year. Confirming and checking production data from factories to ensure it is correct before allocating stock accordingly and recording any waste.
There is also a necessity to verify a lot of accuracy on all consignments to ensure a specific quality of service. This role will also be working on specific shifts maybe working one weekend in four. This is a unique chance to learn the basics of a procurement role before progressing into a more senior buying position.
To be successful in this role, you would have the following:
Must be fluent in Spanish.
Experience with fresh produce & food would be desirable but not essential. It would allow you to understand the supply chain and speed of product much easier.
A degree or higher-level education would be desirable.
Excellent communication, Microsoft Office and time management skills are a must to keep you working to critical deadlines and to a good standard.
