Your role

Reporting to the Live Bird Transport Manager you will be required to manage all of the processes associated with live bird catching and haulage, so the birds are delivered to the factory as scheduled. You will be managinga team of drivers and catching personnel.You will be planning and scheduling the collection of live birds for the Dungannon/Ballymena Factories and be responsible for ensuring the birds are delivered within all existing welfare standards.

What you’ll need

You will have proven experience at department Manager level and have the ability to work unsupervised using your own initiative. You must be competent in Excel and be a strong communicator and negotiator. Certificates in CPC, NEBOSH and Poultry Welfare Officer is desrable as well as a knowledge of animal welfare standards. As Saturday work is part of the role, flexibility with working hours is required.
