Technical Manager

We are currently recruiting for a technical manager to be based on our manufacturing site in Dudley.

Salary £30k  - £35k dependent on experience 

About us:

We are a medium sized factory based close to the town centre in Dudley. We produce chilled and frozen meals for both food service and retail, and we are very focussed on quality and consistency to support the associated brands. We have a family operated way of thinking, so looking for a new addition to the family to be part of our future business growth.

Responsibilities:

• To manage day-to-day operational requirements in line with BRC Version 8
• Communicate with clients regarding any complaints or technical queries

• Quality control on goods in and out of the business and dealing with any non-conformances that should occur.
• Work alongside the on-site team to maintain all paperwork and controls associated with BRC
• Manage daily start up checks and work with the teams to maintain procedures
• Manage environmental technical requirements with regular swabbing and microbiological testing.

About you:

• We would like you to have had experience where you were involved in the process of BRC v7
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills
• Be able to communicate at a senior level and deal direct with auditors 
• Work with our on-site stock control and traceability system, and be confident with Microsoft office.
