As a professional Chef you're probably asked this question more than most. Considering the variety of cuisines, you have probably cooked, never mind eaten, it's a hard question to answer, right?

A Chef, much wiser than me, once answered it well; "Food is like music... depends where I am, what the time is and who I'm with... then I choose to suit the mood."

That statement stayed with me for years, due to its no-nonsense logic.

Of course, there will always be trends we hook into and run with... Then they might become classics of the future. This business makes classics whilst also bringing contemporary twists and the odd first-to-market product to the masses too.

Within the R&D team, for a well-known and incredibly successful food manufacturer in West London, this Development Chef position seeks an experienced NPD Chef. You might have a couple of years under your belt now, and the idea of making a move into a new team, that offers you some insight into new or unknown cuisines, is a big draw.

We would want you to come with experience in food manufacturing. You might have worked with Frozen or Chilled recipe dish, or even Food-To-Go, Soups, Sauces or QSR menu development... but the understanding of the Stage Gate process is wanted please. As is a genuine love of food trends and what the commercial successes are for providing meal solutions to the ever-increasing customer base in the UK.
