You will be working for an independent, award-winning manufacturer which alongside using traditional production methods, is dedicated to product innovation in order to keep up top date with ever-changing market trends. The business supplies their wide range of products to multiple & independent retailers throughout the UK, wholesalers, manufacturers, and also export around the world.

The job

You will work across all functions in the planning department, ensuring you gain a strong knowledge of the entire planning function in order to progress within the business.

As Graduate Demand Planner, you will work closely with the Supply Chain Manager and Planner where you will formulate and present a structured demand profile for the companies finished products. As part of a small team, your understanding of food safety and technical compliance will help you construct a planned inventory level, maximising service level and minimising waste.

Your experience

To be considered for the Graduate Demand Planner role, you will be educated to a degree level in a supply chain, planning, logistics other relevant subject. Any previous experience working in an FMCG/food manufacturing environment would be a distinct advantage.

You will possess excellent communication skills, an analytical mindset plus a high level of numeracy together with solid IT skills including Excel. A driving licence and own transport is required due to site location.

The Graduate Demand Planner job is based in the Yorkshire region and is paying £22,000. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5pm.
