My Client are leading suppliers of specialist food products. They are now looking for an Interim Technical Manager with experience working within FMCG, supplying the major retailers

The role reports to the Managing Director, and will be responsible for leading the technical, quality and hygiene functions across all sites to guarantee food safety and that quality exceeds customer expectations. 

  • You will provide technical advice and guidance to ensure that business standards for quality, safety, statutory compliance, corporate social responsibility and integrity are achieved and CI initiatives are delivered. 
  • This position leads the technical resources that assure the on-going production of delicious and safe foods that comply with product specifications and exceed customer and consumer expectations. 
  • As a member of the management team, the Technical Manager will work in partnership with the Production, Sales, Product Development, Distribution, Engineering and Admin teams to support new product launches, line extensions and continuous quality improvement projects including the effective execution of line trials and process capability evaluations.

Candidates should have experience of a Technical Manager role in the food industry and have experience of working with the major retailers.

This will be a short term contract role, all daily rates considered.
