Due to development and growth, Greencore Manton Wood are looking to recruit a variety of skilled positions. 

As Depositor Operative, your key focus will be for the set up, clean/strip down (mid shift and end of shift) on Auto Cutters, Depositors, Cross Belts and Multipond machinery. You need to ensure at all times that the machine is safe and secure and that all areas of food/hygiene standards are met.

As a Machine Operative you will operate either the Flow Wrap or Proseal by setting up the machine ensuring correct date, labels, blister type and temperature. You will ensure full supply of materials to maintain machine operation throughout your shift, completing all necessary documentation, e.g. label sheets etc. as specified. This means a good standard of English & Maths is required, along with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Other duties include reporting all down time and machine issues to Line Controller/Engineering as appropriate, carrying out relevant Health & Safety checks and carrying out other duties as from time to time may be reasonably required e.g. Stock Checks. If you have an awareness of Health & Safety procedures this would be beneficial. You will need to be flexible as you may be required to move from machine to machine, and cover other shifts/hours within a face paced environment.

As a Service Operative you will support the Line Controller running the production line. You will be the go between for Prep and Production and also liaise with other departments as required.

What we’re looking for

 Educated to GCSE or equivalent, you’ll be computer literate and have some understanding of basic food safety.  Previous experience of working within a similar role within food manufacturing would be required whilst qualifications within Food Hygiene and health and safety would be extremely beneficial. 

You will enjoy working as part of a team environment, have good communication skills, strong attention to detail and sound organisation skills.
