Salary: £27,000 per annum
A big player in the FMCG sector are looking two strengthen their team with addition of two talented Planners. This role will be very challenging but also very satisfying and rewarding.
The role is to organise the ordering and stock management across the whole factory. Ordering is done from a wide range of suppliers with multiple lead times some from abroad. The Operations Planner is the main point of contact between procurement and packing to ensure there is a smooth flow of stock through to the customer.
You will need to communicate effectively cross-functionally with other departments, suppliers and customers. You will also need to update the MRP and ERP systems ensuring accuracy.
- Experience in a planning role within an FMCG company.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to carryout duties and adapt to changes in the business.
- Experience using an ERP system is also required for the ideal candidate.
- Strong communication skills to develop strong relationships with other departments and customers.
