My FMCG manufacturing client are looking for a Production Planner to be responsible for the daily planning of manufacture and maximising plant efficiency, ensuring quality and customer requirements are met.

Description

As Production Planner for this role based in Derbyshire, you will ensure an accurate and timely production plan is produced in line with department KPIs on a daily basis, using the MRP and forecasts and will ensure accurate capture of operational data and management information.

You will be responsible for managing stock obsolescence within targets and assisting in contingency for potential production interruptions.

Profile

The successful candidate for the Production Planner role will be a logical, process thinking person, driven by excellence in both performance and results, with excellent team player skills. You will be comfortable utilising both conventional and enterprising solutions and have a good understanding of planning principles and values. Experience in a production planning role is preferable but not essential.

This is a pro-active role, utilising the business ERP system and best practices to achieve results determined by departmental and company objectives.

Job Offer

The successful candidate will be offered c. £25,000 - £27,000, with potential room for negotiation dependant on experience and profile.
