Other essentials for the role include:

• Intermediate Food Hygiene
• HACCP ideally minimum Level 3
• Analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Keen attention to detail
• A thorough understanding of food manufacturing processes.

A degree or BTEC in a food related or science subject will certainly give your application the edge as will a Technical management diploma or similar.
