Product Technologist | Food | Retailer

Our client is a leading retailer in the UK, and they are looking for a Product Technologist - Food on a 12 month FTC.

In this role, you will support the buying teams with the development of new and exciting products and ensure they are compliant and meet customer expectations with regards to quality standards.

The Job:
Work with buying teams and suppliers to develop new products (NPD) and improve existing products (EPD).
Conduct quality assessments of products and oversee quality management throughout the product development life cycle.
You will be the link between the technical service provider and suppliers.
Complete technical projects as and when required.

The Candidate:
You will have relevant experience in a similar role within technical/ quality.
Ability to manage a number of projects at the same time.
Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
Flexible approach to work.
