Opportunity for a Drinks Development specialist to lead a team working on innovative, market-leading R&D projects.

As Product Development Manager you will be responsible for the implementation of the three-year innovation pipeline - renovation of core products, innovation to take existing brands forward and total newness. There is a diverse range of exciting projects in the pipeline, building on this company's already fantastic product range.

The role reports into the Marketing Director and has a team of three direct reports. It's North-West based with some travel to manufacturing sites as required. Your team takes projects from initial laboratory development from the brief through to implementation in the factory.

You will also be managing and developing supplier relationships with flavour houses and working on value engineering projects - driving continuous improvement to optimise profits.

We are looking for a strong technical skill set in the development of products (ideally drinks) and their commercialisation. A strong leader to be the voice of product development and to help the team grow. A big picture, strategic thinker who can influence across the business.
