This food manufacturing business is in the growing eCommerce sector and would classify themselves as a Tech company first and food company second. They are highly innovative and lead the market in their sector. With major growth over the last few years and multiple sites this is a business that is thriving. Utilising the latest digital platforms to drive customer growth the company sells direct to their consumers and needs a switched on Logistics Manager to ensure all products arrive on time.

Working with 3rd party couriers you will take responsibility for products from the point they leave the production line until they arrive with the customer. With perishable and ambient food products it is imperative that products arrive on time as such OTIF is a major KPI to measure performance of the delivery team.

As a tech focused and adaptable business this role would suit someone who enjoys solving problems, is open to developing new processes and ways of working and is comfortable dealing with ambiguity. You will have a small team to help coordinate delivers across the 7 day schedule.

Key responsibilities:
  • Managing all process related to product delivery
  • Increasing OTIF - aiming for 100%
  • Developing capability in the logistics team
  • Managing customer complaints and resolutions
