Salary: £38,000 - £40,000
Experienced Quality Managers, I have a role in the heart of Cheshire that requires an enthusiastic professional to join a busy Quality Department. Your responsibility will be to drive the Department forward and lead a small team of QA's and one QA Supervisor.
As Quality Manager, you will be responsible for all the on goings in the department, ensuring all HACCP plans, Quality Manuals and training procedures are up to date. Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will lead the Quality Department, ensuring all protocols are followed with regards to food safety and legal standards.
A strong understanding of BRC standards and previous experience in Quality Management is essential. You will need to train staff on a regular basis, ensuring they are all up to speed with the sites procedures.
What's in it for you, I hear you ask? Your own progression plan for a start. It's often seen as "you've made it" when you reach the Manager level. However training is offered to all levels here, whether you're just starting out in your career, or nearing the end. Working for an industry leading, blue-chip company also speaks volumes on your CV. This role would certainly suit someone with Quality Management experience with a smaller business, looking to step up to a larger site.
