The purpose of the role is to manage the business interface for your specific customer, including development and delivery of an Account plan and Joint Business Plan that drives performance in the market and against internal budgets and forecasts. In additional the role will also be responsible for the day to day tasks & responsibilities of the Fish Category supporting the Commercial Lead.

The role also supports the Account Team by completing administrative tasks, communicating findings from tasks, liaising cross functionally internally with key departments and externally where appropriate.

Operating as a key member of a cross functional Customer team, including Category, Shopper, Finance, Supply and Marketing, who are all working towards one shared goal.

Essential:

  • Have worked as an Admin Assistant or Account Executive previously, ideally in FMCG
  • Strong customer relationship management skills
  • Budget management
  • Accurate management of all customer specific tactical funds
  • Demonstrates a clear drive for results
  • Attention to detail
  • Numerical dexterity – comprehension of groups of numbers and data
  • Time management
  • Self-improvement – taking ownership and having a desire to learn, develop and progress
  • Excellent communication and the ability to build relationships quickly

Desirable:

  • Has experience of working in the Online environment
  • Ability to sell commercial propositions in line with company and customer needs.
  • Some level of exposure to negotiation skills in order to achieve mutually acceptable outcomes
  • Ability to develop meaningful business plans; forecast effectively; carry out financial analysis, in order to provide solid management and decision-making information
