Quality Auditor

The Company

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding manufacturer of delicious premium chilled products. This ambitious business is continually growing, and they are now looking for a Quality Auditor to promote the highest levels of food safety and quality across the business.

The Role

Supporting the Quality Manager you’ll help with making sure all technical requirements are met and maintained within the factory. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

· Ensuring all quality and safety standards are maintained to BRC standard whilst driving continuous improvement initiatives and striving for technical excellence.

· Implementing and assessing traceability, process and CCP documentation, feeding back any issues to internal teams including production to ensure problems are resolved promptly and effectively.

· Co-ordinating and participating in factory and customer audits as well as taste panels where you’ll collate information to identify trends, create reports and update documentation.

· Supporting NPD teams with new product launches, producing quality attribute sheets and writing finished product specifications to guarantee the highest technical standards across all site processes.

The Person

Suit a Food Science or Technology graduate who has some experience in a technical or quality role within a food manufacturing environment and is keen to develop their career with a supportive business.

You must have knowledge of Food Hygiene and HACCP as well as experience of how to handle non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are effective. You will also need to have outstanding communication skills as you will liaise regularly with colleagues and customers. Excellent organisational skills and a finely tuned eye for detail are essential along with an analytical and methodical approach to tasks. Computer literacy, particularly with Word and Excel, is also needed for effective data analysis and trend reporting.
