The job

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a highly experienced technical team in a fast-moving and demanding but rewarding food category.

As QC Microbiologist, you will be responsible for testing finished products and raw materials to the required micro specification and entering results in SAP. You will carry out day to day testing of samples, perform GMP micro swabbing of key defined production areas and record results. This work is carried out in an ISO17025 accredited laboratory.

Your experience

We are looking for a passionate and driven individual who is educated to a degree level or equivalent in a microbiology related discipline. Experience within a food manufacturing environment or related industry within a microbiology laboratory is highly desirable. You will possess excellent attention to detail, he highly organised and IT literate.

More details

The QC Microbiologist job is based in the East Anglia region and is paying £25,000 - £30,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5pm, plus every other Saturday morning.
