QA Team Leader (FMCG)

My client, a successful food manufacturer based in Leicester are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Technologist Team Leader to support the team with product launces, process and audits.

Duties

Ensuring that you’re adhering to compliance standards

  • Lead a team of QA Technicians
  • Process validation audits
  • Support product trials
  • Attend daily taste panels
  • Handling customer complaints and dealing with quality and health and safety issues.
  • To lead by example, driving performance and standards throughout the team
  • Daily checks of products to ensure it meets all the standards and requirements

Skills & Experience

  • Quality experience working within a Food Manufacturing company
  • Understand GMP and HACCP
  • Experience leading a team of QA's
  • Understand and knowledge of customer COP's, (Code of Practice)
  • Excellent communication skills; verbal &written
  • Able to work autonomously or a part of a team
  • Can think on their feet, will adapt to business needs

  • Salary: up to £25000
  • Permanent Role Working Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm
