This is a wide and varied role where you will be a key part of a busy and talented technical team where the purpose of your role will be to ensure compliance across the site and to ensure the site is audit ready.
You will ensure audits are carried out to relevant standards including internal QMS, customer COPs and third-party, arrange supplier audits, prepare for internal and external audits, follow up on any food safety issues, assist with training factory personnel and supporting with technical/quality issues, assist in maintaining and developing QMS to the BRC standard, complete all required QA/technical documents and investigate customer complaints including corrective actions.
To be considered for the Technical Compliance Officer role, you will preferably be a holder of a degree/HND within a food science/technology discipline and possess solid food industry technical/QA experience, ideally within chilled, high-risk food. You will have excellent working knowledge of food safety and quality principles, have a positive can-do attitude and possess excellent attention to detail. A driving licence is required due to site location.
The Technical Compliance Officer job is based in the Cheshire region and is paying £23,000 - £25,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm, however some flexibility will be required.
