Reporting to the Relationship and change manager, the successful Business Analyst will be leading on delivering projects that will add value, improve the experience of our external and internal customers.

In this exciting opportunity, you will be expected to be an expert in requirements capture, prioritisation and documentation working from idea inception to Go live. You will facilitate stakeholder workshops, displaying skills in requirements gathering, effective questioning and capture valuable output that you can build for further analysis on.


You will own the requirements for the project, capturing these with any supporting documentation, always clearly and concisely captured on Jira / confluence. Epics/User stories should be detailed and captured in the team's tool of choice, following Agile principles and acceptance criteria. Additionally, you will work closely with the development team to give them a clear understanding of what needs to be delivered. You will also be required to run estimation sessions to understand the effort required to deliver the stories.


As a part of the team effort, any of the above outputs should be shared with the Product Owner (R&CM) and you will support with effective prioritisation of the backlog, providing recommendations based on your understanding. During your analysis, you will work closely with design to help them understand the requirements and problem solve any technical limitations that may impact the design.

You will collaborate across all of our teams, to take ideas from concept to a solution, understanding any areas of risk, dependencies, compliance impacts or data requirements. Working together with your team will be key to your personal success and key to project delivery, always in collaboration when needed with our Delivery Lead, Product Owners, Architecture and validation of requirements (Acceptance Testing). Ultimately, we operate as a team, supporting one another to get the job done.

Main responsibilities

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, being personable and confident, with the ability to build and maintain fantastic working relationships with 3rd party suppliers and colleagues at all levels making sure delivered projects are fully adopted by the business. You must have previous work in delivering projects in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Being comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing competing workloads and effectively prioritising will be key in this role.
