UK Maintenance Improvement Lead

Salary: Circa £80k + 

Package: 25% Performance Related Bonus, £7800 Car Allowance, Pension, Holidays, Family Healthcare. 

Location: Based out of Manchester (Ideally). This is a Group engineering role with a full UK remit and will require some travel.

A much loved brand is looking for a UK maintenance development lead to lead the UK Maintenance stratetgy across multiple sites. This global player has a vision to be an inustdusty leader in strategic maintenance and are pushing towards a RCM culture.

Your role will be to improve operational performance through the implementation of best in class asset care practices and processes improving reliability and delivering technical mastery for the maintenance function.  

Key Responsibilities:

-Using the Maintenance Excellence Roadmap as a foundation work with the site teams to deliver best in class performance.

-Governance of asset performance through management of the PM and reliability programme.

-Ensure delivery of core PM compliance

-Ensure process embedded for critical spares optimising stores holding to reduce cost whilst minimising impact

-Review Service Support strategy and ensure contracts are in place for those out-sourced

-Support the Project Management process ensuring Early Equipment -Management is embedded and spares, training and PM's are in place before Go Live

-Work with site teams using reliability history to update and amend PM's.

-Deliver improvements in the ratio of planned versus unplanned site activity

-Central coordination of long duration (>4 hours) planned maintenance activities across multiple sites

Challanges:

- Keeping abreast of engineering legislation

- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety legislation

- Influencing and aligning policies across a diverse network

- Identifying new and emerging technologies and practices

- Benchmarking performance across multiple Business Units and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Skills, Knowledge & Expirience:

- Drive and commitment to deliver strategic changes across muliple sites, continually influencing strong operational personalities.

- Previous experience of delivering best in class maintenance strategy across multiple producion site

- Multi site experience desirable

- Champion effective stakeholder engagement

- Create a vision for improvements in Asset Care

- Optimising expenditure on asset care to reduce costs and/or increase performance
