Supply Chain 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

A well-known international brand our client is a dynamic FMCG business who are looking for a Supply Chain Manager on a 6 month fixed term contract, to cover a maternity leave position. Job Role

Your key role will be to manage the availability of all raw materials including ingredients from all sources to meet the highest standards in customer service. You will also be responsible for the S&OP cycles.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be need to have experience in the key areas below:

Stock Management

• Weekly stock takes for all availability
• Support the Sales Team planning by providing accurate reports
• Packaging materials tracking and reporting
• Manage and solve any issues arising from reconciliation

Supplier Management

• Supply plans communication, including agreeing performance metrics
• Performance reviews for accountability
• Implement improvement initiatives

S&OP Process

• Organise and manage the Pre-Demand and Demand meetings
• Work with the commercial team to ensure all forecasting is accurate
• Coordinate effective Demand Reviews
• Being involved in post-promotional evaluation

SHS

• Drive effective weekly and monthly contact reviews
• Consistent contact with IPS regarding re-labelling, re-packing and starter pack creation

Communication with other departments

• Technical – NPDs, factory changes, production changes, soft launches, packaging material planning, ideal MOQ establishment, checking and action relevant complaints with suppliers
• Marketing – implement contingency plans for campaigns, building in relevant information to the supply plan
• Finance – reporting weekly information on stock movements, monthly reporting on inbound and outbound forecasting. Report write-offs and any stock adjustments, providing information on starter pack creation and packaging materials bought from suppliers
• Sales Team – daily discussions on performance, giving feedback on forecast accuracy on a weekly and monthly bases
• Distribution & Warehouse – daily conversations on stock management and service issues. Continuous tracking and feedback leading weekly and monthly meetings
• Suppliers – weekly conversations to discuss rolling plans, with monthly updates on forecasting after the Demand Review meeting

Monday to Friday

Remuneration Package

£45-50k per annum

5% pension + 3% personal pension contribution

£100 per month Healthcare allowance

15% Company discretionary bonus
