Demand Planner

There is currently a fantastic opportunity for a Demand Planner to join one of our clients a leading FMCG business based in the West Midlands

The Role

The successful individual will be responsible for the planning of product from forecasting to supply in line with customer requirement.

As Demand Planner you will be responsible for:

Leading the monthly forecast cycle, sourcing information from marketing, customers and historical sales data.

Understanding market trends, historical sales data, promotional uplift and new products for key accounts.

Maintaining a high level of forecasting accuracy in line with the businesses targets

Advising customers on the delivery of their product launch strategy

Using excel to analyse data and product reports around sales and forecasting

Attending and contributing to forecast meetings for major accounts

Using a mixture of statistical / manual approaches in order to maximise product availability and minimise stock holding.

The Candidate

2 – 5 Years’ experience within a FMCG environment in a demand role

Exposure to a mature S&OP environment

SAP/APO Exposure (Desirable)

Analytical mind-set, Process Driven and Strong Influencing skills
