We are looking to recruit a Process Engineer at our Oakthorpe Dairy in North London. Working on modern milk processing equipment (e.g. pasteurisers, separators, homogenisers), we require a multi-skilled engineer to effectively perform specialised automation, instrumentation, electrical and mechanical maintenance. Occasional support will also be required on packaging equipment.



Responsibilities
Joining us as a skilled Process Engineer you will combine your knowledge of process engineering and manufacturing principles to ensure the efficiency of Process and Services equipment is maximised through continuous improvement and the completion of preventative tasks to deliver site optimum performance. You will effectively perform electrical, mechanical and PLC fault finding of all dairy process equipment, maintaining detailed PPM system with the engineering planner, ensuring its compliance in a flexible and efficient manner. You will also need a understanding of CI activity - develop ideas and action when agreed and pursue through to completion and measure effectiveness. You will work closely with the process and the engineering maintenance team departments to deliver a quality product and all KPIs.



Skills
We are looking for candidates with previous experience of working in an automated FMCG manufacturing environment (Dairy, Beverage, Chemical, Pharmaceutical or other liquid ). You will have knowledge of Process Optimisation with experience in maintaining and improving Instrumentation, Valves and Pump equipment. You will have a high level understanding of continuous improvement within the engineering process. Both mechanical and electrical skills are needed, with PLC experience essential ideally Siemens S7. As well as technical expertise, you will possess a proactive and inquisitive mind with the ability to drive improvements and influence at all levels.
