Sales Executive - Food Manufacturing

Eden Scott are working in partnership with a family run food manufacturer based in Central Scotland. The business is very much a leader in their field, they supply high quality food products to the UK's retail, wholesale and foodservice channels.

They have a dynamic close nit team that work very well together. The position is initially a new business focussed role, but there is a clear path of progression into a more senior sales position within the business.

Responsibilities

• The purpose of the role is to identify new sales opportunities and develop new accounts.
• Ensure customer requirements are clear and understood feeding back to the factory all requirements and needs.
• Work closely with the Production team in respect of customer requirements and with the Technical team in the management of customer complaints and technical queries.
• Keep up to date with developments in the market place, including competitor activity.
• To be a highly motivated individual delivering work to a high standard and able to work on your initiative.
• To be well organised, a good timekeeper and able to prioritise work effectively with constant feedback to the necessary team.
• Maintaining and building relationships with customers ensuring all customer requirements are adhered to.

Requirements

• Excellent sales skills and experience. Ideally a proven track record of new business.
• Knowledge of the food industry is a must.
• Able to communicate & work with colleagues at all levels.
• Proficient in IT and internal CRM systems.
• Self-organisation and self-motivated.
• Able to prioritise and effective time management.
