Description

The Key responsibilities of the Operations Manager- Brewery are:
  • Be accountable for the end-to-end production and logistics of the brewery products
  • Ensure the delivery of exceptional quality, in the right volume, at the right price and to the right standards- whilst maintaining a H&S driven environment
  • Manage 6 direct reports including: brewers, production assistants, logistics assistant and retail manager
  • Support H&S committee
  • Ensure production is in line with P&L requirements
  • Improve productivity across all functions to achieve business performance goals
  • Develop the team and drive engagement by implementing a robust people plan
  • Partner with internal teams to delivery the NPD/Innovation agenda
  • Manage OPex budgets
  • Work as part of the Group Brewery Management Team


Profile

The ideal Operations Manager for Brewery will have:
  • A good number of years' experience in FMCG, specifically brewery, with strong experience of quality and packaging
  • Knowledge of engineering would be desirable
  • Graduate (ideally with a brewing degree)
  • Strong H&S experience
  • Strong project management experience
  • A passion for craft beer is a must
  • Excellent people management capability, plus proven track record of developing teams and individual capabilities
  • Keen understanding of priorities and functional requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, integrity and confidence
