Senior Management Accountant required for large chilled food manufacturing company for a 6 month fixed term contract to start asap
Urgent need for an experienced Senior Management Accountant with an operational bias to join a highly successful chilled food manufacturing company based in Greater Manchester with over 1,000 employees and multiple customers.
Reporting into the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for leading the management accountant team of a large chilled food manufacturing company supply the major retailers.
Accountabilities will include
- Performance Reporting
- Rolling Forecast
- Review and develop the commercial and operational control systems
- Month End
- Co-ordinate with group functions (e.g. internal audit, tax department) and external parties as required.
- Review the management accounting systems (e.g. ERP, Costings) to ensue they are operating and are being used efficiently and effectively
- People management - team of two management accountants
To apply you must have FMCG / Retailer experience
- Experience of managing a small team
- Proven senior management accountant
- Be available to start immediately
- CIPD qualified
