We are currently working with a fresh produce business to source a brilliant National Account Manager to join their team covering a period of maternity leave and then permanently to cover some new accounts as the business continues to grow. The Job:
You will be joining a thriving team ready to hit the ground running with some agreed targets and customer relationships ready to pick up and continue the growth of their accounts. This role is very open and you will have the opportunity to identify some commercial strategies and opportunities to suggest to the Commercial team alongside the day-to-day management of the accounts. Once the maternity leave cover is completed the business will look to appoint a new NAM role on some growing accounts and take on the successful candidate full time.
You will then be managing your own set of accounts and hopefully with the skills and introduction you had to the business in the maternity cover role, you will be able to identify commercial opportunities, grow these accounts further and create your own strategy in line with business targets. The Successful Candidate:
The successful candidate will have the following:
Experience in the commercial sector within fresh produce, ideally 3 years+. Experience dealing with Top 4 retailers will be very advantageous.
Ideally a qualification or degree in a relevant sector but this is not essential.
Experience of building and maintaining relationships with external customers in a commercial environment.
Excellent Microsoft Office and communication skills, ideally with the ability to interpret market data to build a business case also.
